It's 1:57 a.m. and I've been awake since 6 a.m....
This is in no way unusual for me at the moment.
So now I’m trying to decide between:
a) playing video games until I’m incapable of being conscious, which may mean midday or something;
b) answering emails while less inhibited/reluctant than usual due to sleep deprivation;1
c) going to bed and watching/listening to Daria episodes or something until my brain gets distracted enough...

There’s nothing like having a few conversations with a friend who sees themself as quite progressive, and isn’t even a terrible person, to make me realise that my views on many things are quite radical.
Or just that a lot of supposedly-progressive views and the people who hold them are really not all that progressive. At all.
Which I suppose amounts to the same thing.
