This kind of thing happens to me a lot. Like the time I figured out the perfect way to defeat insomnia. It involved lying a particular way while listening to specific music, then moving one’s mind to create a feeling of falling, which immediately turned into unconsciousness. The next day I couldn’t remember how to lie down, or what music to listen to, or what all that “mind-moving” stuff was supposed to be about.

Imagining that my thoughts are continually draining out of my skull through my spine almost always works, though, when I can manage to focus on it. So it’s not all ham bicycles and drummers who are also comedians.
