"Nobody gets upset about TV killings. Maybe they’ve made their peace with the idea that it is sometimes okay to kill one person to defend others. I don’t know. In real life cops do that, and the army. I couldn’t be a cop or in the army for those reasons. That’s not a judgment. I’ve never been in their shoes, and I’ve never been expected to make those sorts of decisions. I hope I never am."
